On the first day of classes, I introduced the framework of the year 2 curriculum. Students did not react because they are interested on the topic and other students smiles on me maybe because they have experiences how to use the program.
During their hands on activity students are very much happy in exploring the tools, editing their images and publishing it to their respective blogs.
For the teachers who want to handle the subject please make it sure that you have enough knowledge in dealing the subject, sometimes students are good enough.
Below are some tips in introducing the topic and some hands on exercises.
Adobe Photoshop is hands down, the most popular program for creating and modifying images for the web.
Adobe Photoshop, or simply Photoshop, is a graphics editing program developed and published by Adobe Systems. It is the current market leader for commercial bitmap and image manipulation software, and is the flagship product of Adobe Systems. It has been described as “an industry standard for graphics professionals”[1] and was one of the early “killer applications” on the Macintosh, later also for the PC.[2]
